ASDM not working in WINDOWS 11

Hi all,  Hope this will help you

I have received new Laptop from my organization and its win11.

Faced challenge in Running ASDM.  After installing ASDM and JAVA ASDM Application wont open

Tried installing older version of JAVA still same.

But finally it's working after installing Amazon Corretto. "Amazon Corretto is a no-cost, multiplatform, production-ready distribution of the Open Java Development Kit (OpenJDK)"

Please perfrom the following setps:

Go to Start > Cisco ASDM-IDM Launcher > right-click the launcher and go to More > Open file location

Then you should be looking at the shortcut to the ASDM launcher, right-click it and go to Properties and look at the Target. You'll see a long path to wscript.exe - change this to C:\Windows\System32\wscript.exe (leave the invisible.vbs run.bat on the end as these scripts are used to open up ASDM). After changing this you may able to launch ASDM fine.

If the issue is not resolved...try to install another java version to fix. Here is the link:

I tried you steps, but it dint help in my case. To download from ORACLE link it requires login

I looked for other options, and found " Amazon Corretto".  No registration required and it works.
