I am working with ASR-920-12CZ's and am in the process of updating the IOS in dozens of 920's. Recently I have ran into a batch where the USB MEM port is not recognizing my memory stick and have to resort to updating the IOS over tftp. That wouldn't be a problem but I have so many to get through and it's a much slower process.
I have searched for a while to find out how/if I can shut, no shut the USB MEM port as it acts as though it is shut down. Does anyone know what I can do to troubleshoot the status of the USB MEM port and get it activated when I run into this again?
