Until we can get network management tools in place, I would like to be able to see real time stats on Internet and enterprise network usage per user. Normally, I would use netflow, but since the firewall NATs, I only see one source address. Inside the firewall, we have a 6509 running hybrid, but I can't seem to get netflow stats on the VLAN interfaces. Any suggestions?
TIA

Is netflow switching enables on the interface in question? Try using the command 'ip route-cache flow' on the vlan interface and see if it works.

When I enable netflow and do 'sho ip cache flow', all I see is multicast traffic (igrp and all routers on subnet, 244.0.0.10, 244.0.0.2) sourced from the real interface address. Does this not work if I have Standby groups set up using a VIP interface?
