Best way to connect network to internet? Packet tracer

Hi there,

I am new to packet tracer and have been asked to enable a device on my packet tracer lab to be able to access the internet. What would be the best way to go about this and how?

as far as I know packet tracer cannot actually access your Internet.you can connect to other person's PT to share traffic but no traffic can go to the Internet.

So this question can be translated how a company can access the Internet? what do you need to access Internet or connect to your Internet provider ISP? a local router and what features like DHCP, NAT, Firewalls?

Sorry I should have worded this differently. When I said "internet" I meant a setup similar to below:

What would be the best way to connect my network to communicate with that server over the cloud?

oh, "fake" Internet via PT cloud depends on that cloud ports. I think PT cloud has DSL or Cable ports similar to your home connection.  so, that would be your options: cable or dsl. I don't have access to PT right now but check if there is a cable modem or dsl modem that you could drag and connect to the cloud. unfortunately I never used cloud connection in PT.  I am sure you can find some examples if you search online.
