Hi @Pi20 ,

When you say "it din't work", I suppose you mean Cust A cannot ping Cust B, right? The configuration on the ASR1001 should allow Cust A and B to reach each other. Can you please share the switch configuration.

Regards,

hi @Harold Ritter

yes they can reach each other but with too many disconnection. is it related to specific config on the switch

switch is nexus 3K . with simple configuration trunk with allowed vlan 10 and 20

Regards,

Hi @Pi20 ,

but with too many disconnection

Can you be more specific? You could probably check the logs on the Nexus to see if there is any helpful messages.

with simple configuration trunk with allowed vlan 10 and 20

What about the port towards Cust A and B?

Regards,

checked the logs without finding anything .

switch configuration from both sides  .

switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,20

I see in the diagram that you have a ip address of cust A 10.10.10.1/24 called VLAN 10, and then on the bottom I see cust B 10.10.10.2/24 called vlan 20.  This is probably your issue.  If you want to have vlan 20, you may need to change it to 10.10.20.2/24.

Does that make sense?  You are usin gthe same IP address space for two separate VLANS.

Hi @MichaelMcCoy ,

The configuration on the ASR1001 puts both VLANs in the same bridge domain, therefore the two nodes should be able to ping each others.

Regards,

Gotcha, I've never worked with an ASR so interesting.  Thanks for teaching moment.

Hello,

looking at your drawing, it appears there is some sort of wireless connectivity ?
