Hi
I have a pb with VLAN SPAN configured on the network.
This causes CCM and TOIP router gateway to be seen as CDP neihbors of a lot of the switches (behind their trunk ports) whereas they are only connected to 2 switches.
It is only because of VSPAN, I guess.
But since Campus discovers these devices to be neighbors of almost every device, it leads to an horrible map with speed discrepencies and incorrect links.
Is there a mean to avoid this situation ?
Please help
Caroline
And Campus can't analyse

I have not see this problem with our VLAN SPANs. How do you have the span configured?

La config est la suivante :
monitor session 1 destination interface Gi2/0/24
monitor session 1 source remote vlan 999
monitor session 2 source vlan 1000 rx
monitor session 2 destination interface Gi2/0/23
monitor session 3 source vlan 1000 rx
monitor session 3 destination remote vlan 999
where 1000 is the TOIP vlan and 999 is the remote span vlan

Sorry, I have not been able to test an RSPAN to see if there is an inherent problem with CDP and RSPAN VLANs. But I have not found any other reports of problems. What is the native VLAN on these trunk ports that are carrying the RSPAN VLAN? If they are 999, try a different native VLAN.
