Can i add "description" field in a CPI dashlet?

Hi,

does anybody know if there a way to add the interface description field in a ToP N interface dashlet in Prime 3.7 or older?

The topN interface utilization dashlet is very handy , but it could be more useful if there was also the interface description filed as a column in order for the helpdesk for example to know what is each interface mentioned in the this dashet?

Is at least possible to create a custom applet and add specific fields in it?  For example, interface and description fields in one dashlet?  I do not mean to alter a dashlet in order to add to it a description field but rather create a new one with the fields you need ?  Is that possible?
