Dear All

I have problem to access ASDM and to copy using tftp in ciscon asa 5505, I can ping to the Ip address

192.168.1.1.

I get error message  for ASDM

192.168.1.1 uses an unsupported protocol.

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

For TFTP

WARNING: TFTP download incomplete!

%Error reading tftp://192.168.1.1/E:\ASABACKUP\asa992-smp-k8.bin (Unspecified Error)

Can you help please?

Kind Regards

Hamid

It is not clear to me which way the tftp is trying to do. Some look like the ASA is the source while others look like the ASA is the destination. And in each of the commands supplied there appears to be an E drive. Perhaps there might be an E drive on the remote machine. But I have never seen an E drive on an ASA. Perhaps it would be helpful to clarify what is the destination machine and what is the source machine, and what and where is the source file and what and where is the destination file.

Hi

Are you sure about this path:

" tftp://192.168.1.1/E:\ASABACKUP\asa992-smp-k8.bin "

Seems to me that some bars should be in the other way around.

Can you ping tftp from management interface ?
