Can't determine if ASA is dropping my Interface or my VPN is dropping me.

Hello

I seem to find that on one of my computers that my VPN will disconnect at random mostly but more to increments of 20 or so minutes. I usually do not notice this unless I have a torrent server running for various Linux projects.

On one hand I may have answered myself already by saying only this PC is dropping but I also want to make sure that the port is not shutting down at thee hardware level due to the high activity of people grabbing off of my seeding?

I have uninstalled and installed numerous times the VPN software as well as reboots and servers and it is the same results.

I would LOVE to find a way to capture or be alerted if the Cisco is disabling it temporarily for protection, or if it even does this.

ASA-5508 FirePOWER.

Hi

You should see something on the adapter logs or on the windows event manager, if you are using windows, if Linux, even better.

I really don't believe asa is disabling anything.
