Only a simple reachability (icmp echo or ping) check would be possible with LMS.

What type of load balancer are you using? If it's a Cisco ACE, you should use the ANM product -

Thanks for the reply. We do use ANM for monitoring the LB contexts.

  Just wanted to know if LMS Prime can be used as the all in one solution for monitoring all network devices including contexts of  load balancers.

No it cannot. Given the decision by Cisco to discontinue the ACE going forward, you will likely not see any investment in Cisco Prime re monitoring ACE's either.
