Hello,
I have a WS-C3548-XL-EN switch running ios v12.0(5)WC17 (fc1) that I can not get to connect into a community in CNA v6.1.
I have reset the switch to 'factory defaults', set the IP, SNM, and Default gateway. From other posts I saw that from the config prompt, I needed to enable HTTP (ip http server; ip http authentication enable; ip http path flash:html) and CDP (cdp run), but I still cannot connect.
There must be something I am missing, but being very new to the Cisco ios and this older switch, I don't know where to go.
Any guidance / help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Bob

If I remembered correctly, CNA 2.X supports the old legacy switches like 2900XL/3500XL. Newer versions will no longer support old hardware.

Leo,
Thank you for the reply. I did some more digging and the WS-C3548-XL-EN (3500XL line) was supported up to CNA v4.x.
Grrrr.... I also have a number of newer switches in the system (IE 2000 and IE3000 family) that aren't supported back that far. AND CNA does not allow multiple versions to be installed at the same time.
Looks like I need to run one of them in some sort of VM.
I appreciate the help / insight. Thanks.
