Catalyst 2960G; set user and password for web interface

Hi to all,

cause i have not found anything by myself, I hope you can help me.

I am working on a catalyst 2960G and tried to set an user for the web interface, cause I do not know the old credentials.

Till now I was not able to set it and did not find any clue how to do that.

Telnet and console password were no problem, but in this case I am loosing my mind.

Hello Tim,

 Usually Cisco device has the same user/pass for CLI and HTTP. 

Try to run the command "ip http authentication local" and try to access using CLI user/pass.
