Catalyst 4500 series switch does not generates log message for intf...

Hi all;

I have a Catalyst 4503-E with the recommended Cisco IOS on it (cat4500es8-universalk9.SPA.03.11.03a.E.152-7.E3a.bin). My problem is that, although I executed the terminal monitor command on it, it does not generate log message for this event:

does the logs show when you issue show logging ?

For the Catalyst 4k, interface-level "logging event link-status" is disabled by default. 

With this in default, whenever a link goes down or up, it does not send any log entries.
