Character table and timezone issues after upgrading Prime 2.1 to 2.2

Hello world :-)

I realised I have two issue after migratng from Prime 2.1 to 2.2. Indeed they are minor problems, but i'd like to fix it. Here it is:

1-. Despite my reports are correctly created in catalan, using characters like "á" or "ó" (UNICODE 224 and 243), when we receive the reports in the email these characters are replaced by a "?":

Barcelona > Pg.Gr?cia8-Arag?-ConsellCent

Where correct words would be Pg.Gràcia-Aragó

I can't find any option related to intertational character table and my concern is that in Prime 2.1 is was working fine.

2-. We configured Prime 2.2 like 2.1, in Europe/Madrid timezone:

!

clock timezone Europe/Madrid

!

ntp server 10.x.x.x

!

But when we receive syslog traps, they are in UTC time. Again in Prime 2.1 it was working fine.

Does anybody know what can I do? Any suggestion?

Regards,

David

Hello,

After opening a case on Cisco TAC, it seems to be a bug:

Having tested the 2.2 and 3.0 versions in lab and they were unable to use such characters manually. They believe the problem here is the characters in question were already in the DB, which explains why they were not changed.
