CHECKLISTS, NETWORK DESIGN, DHCP/SWITCH etc configurations...

Hi there,

As I am in the process of starting/prepare some changes on some networks settings (smalls like 1 48 ports POE switch, 15AP, 50/100users between pcs/ipads/phones/av sys etc), changing dhcp controller/firewall/switch and improving general system, I wonder if there are some templates of checklists etc to go through is situation like this. both on tasks and "ideal order" to get things done.

Thank you for any suggestion!

 - I can't see a forcing order here because some tasks are unrelated. I would keep it 'close check(list)  verification' meaning if you change  a service such as wireless , firewalll , dhcp, then test it immediately from a user viewpoint and or as a user would experience the new change(s) or use the service(s) ,

Hello,

just a suggestion, but if I would have to make these changes, I would make a drawing of the network topology showing all devices involved. That way, you can visualize what you are doing, and ensure that connectivity interruptions are at a minimum.
