Cisco 2504 WLC Credentials Randomly Changed?

Hello,

I have been using a cisco 2504 wlc to do some testing in our office. I have used the same credentials for a long time and all of a sudden today it no longer works. I tried on the console and it doesnt work either. Is there any way to get around this at this point? I know nobody else has access to this network or configurations. The only thing I've done is also installed a Cisco ISE VM recently, is there any correllation to this issue im facing here?

I wanted to update. I also should note that I did install an Ubuntu VM running FreeRadius and was able to loginto the management interface with a test account that i've created. However i dont have permissions to do any modifications to the configurations. This is super strange. Could somebody please explain why this is happening?

Hello,

credentials typically do not change randomly. I also do not really see a correlation between the Cisco ISE VM, but then again, since that is the only thing that changed, what if you de-install that ?

In the end, you probably will have to do a password recovery (as described in the link below, I hope that still works on current software)...
