Cisco ASR 902

Pi20

hello guys,

please need some help with cisco ASR-902 (RSP2) 64

i have 3 routers connected to each other by wireless links PTP

the cisco ASR in in between the 2

ping from each router to the ASR gives high max delay

Success rate is 99 percent (11173/11175), round-trip min/avg/max = 1/5/600 ms

if we change the ASR to another one there is no problem

Hello,

could be related to control plane policing. The access list that polices ICMP traffic is 'copp-system-acl-icmp'. Check what the value is, and, if you really need ICMP to respond faster, increase the policed rate. If you are just looking for an explanantion of why you see these values, it is because the control plane limits the amount of ICMP traffic.

Check the link below on instructions how to change the control plane policy (if needed):

Hello Georg

the problem is also that the traffic dropped so i dont think it is with the control plane icmp

Hello,

if traffic is being dropped as well, that is obviously another issue. Can you post the output of:

sh interfaces x

where 'x' is the interface that connects to the other router ?
