Cisco Catalyst 3560 POE-8

Hey Guys,

Ive got an old Catalyst 3560 POE Switch.

i was in my cabinet for months.

now i tried to use it again, but i wont boot.

on the left all LED's are lightning up and thats it...

the console stays empty.

here is console setting should be :

9600

1. Power of the device  ( removing the Power cable).

2.power it back on with the mode button pressed. You will eventually arrive at the switch: prompt.

3. 

switch: flash_init

switch: load_helper

switch: dir flash: 

You will see anything on the console?

If the console itself not show anything, try a different cable or check this cable on another device working as expected.

of course i tried but this dont help.

i plugged in the console cable and opened putty 

no other cable attached

i holded the mode button on the left while plug in the power.

after a couple of seconds i released the button.

Thanks for the confirmation, have you tried the settings i have told, some time putty default has different settings.

1. just to confirm the cable working, do you have any other device to which you can connect this cable and confirm all working?

before we take a bit different steps to fix the issue ?

i confirm this cable works. i tried it on other devices.

its confusing that the switch LED's are steady on on the left side

try quick setup as suggested below link : ( not sure if the console port went bad ?)
