Cisco FPR 1010 Web Interface Access

Hi guys,

i have a cisco fpr 1000 series, the default configuration had a bridge interface with a static ip of 192.168.1.1 that contains all the inside ports from 2 to 8, i removed port 3 from that bridge and assigned that port a static ip which is 192.168.99.1, which i want to connect later on to my switch and manage the fpr web interface through network,

to test that i gave my pc a static ip of 192.168.99.2 and gateway 192.168.99.1, when i try to access the webui of the fpr https://192.168.99.1, it won't work, but when i connect my self to the other ports that were on the bridge, i can access the webui of the fpr on https://192.168.1.1,

is there something missing?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

I believe you're using FDM (web management on ftd appliance).

If that's correct, when logged in fdm, by going into Device/System Settings/Management Access, you should be able to add the new interface and allow https access through it.

Thanks
Francesco

Thanks, yes i added the interface to the management access interface and allowed the network to access https and ssh through that interface, and all went great,

Thanks!

Glad to know it worked. You're welcome

Thanks
