Cisco IOS upgrade procedure

Hello,

I want to do a perl script to upgrade lot of equipments (switchs and routers) in same time (automatically). I'm using a TFTP Server (linux) and thanks to this server i want to upgrade IOS (crontab...) but I need a script.

Can you help me! Please.

I use an expect script that my boss wrote in order to send commands to multiple hosts. I'm working on trying to modify it in order to do IOS upgrades. I'm able to extend the timeout in one of the scripts, but this causes the entire process to take far too long. If anyone is any good with EXPECT (i'm just learning myself), or shell scripting I'm sure they could make it work.
