Cisco LMS 4.2 Including device into "data collection"

I have an issue with "data collection" in Collection setting. My LMS server has more than 2500 managed devices, but all devices in "data collection" are less than 20. How do I add devices into the "data collection"?

Thanks a lot

Hi,

re-intilalize the ANI database

1stop the LMS service

2.linux:

/opt/CSCOpx/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=ani dmprefix=ANI

windows:

NMSROOT\bin\perl.exe NMSROOT\bin\dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=ani dmprefix=ANI

3. start the LMS service

Thanks-

Afroz

Hi ,

try to restart the LMS services and check the status of the issue.

Run a new datacollection job from this location:Admin > Collection Settings > Data Collection> Data Collection Schedule

-if above doesn't help ,share the scree shot of the error

Thanks-

Thanks. I have restart the server but it doesn't help. There is no issue with data collection job. The issue is there are very little devices when I click "show devices" on Device Poller, while it has >2500 managed devices in database

I attached the screenshot of "Show Devices"

check your devices here::

Inventory > User Tracking Settings > Acquisition Actions

under device selection >> click on "SELECT"   and check the device count
