Hello, there is a customer that want to proactively monitors the CMS/Acano virtualized server regarding its callbridge feature via SNMP.

Is there a documentation that explain all the traps sent by the CMS and its conditions?

Is there a documentation that explain the OIDs and its states for the NMS to connect and monitor?

Thanks

Edit: Sorry, this was posted to the wrong community and I didn´t found the delete/remove option.

Hi,

The SNMP support is documented in Cisco Meeting Server Release 2.3 MMP Command Line Reference.

SNMP notifications (traps) and counters details can be seen checking the supported MIB files.

Currently the SNMP support is more focused on notifications, then the performance monitoring could be done through the API integration and CDR analysis. Look the API and CDR reference guides.

Igor

Unfotunately the documentation was already verified and only indicates how to configure the CMS to work with SNMP. There is no information regarding OIDs and their possible states.

The MIB file can be uploaded to interpret the traps generated by the CMS, but we cannot find anywhere which are those traps and their status/triggers

Thanks

You can see partial information in OID descriptions into MIB files. Somehow the current MIB files could be improved regarding the Enumeration and Range values descriptions.

Try also to use the Retrieving System Alarm Status API resource which provide more detailed system alarm data.

For further details I recommend you open a technical query to Cisco TAC team.

Regards,
Igor
