Cisco Nexus 7K reset to factory default

Hi Experts

i am looking for resetting the cisco nexus 7k with one VDC to factory default and then restore the config later from a saved location/checkpoint. could someone please advise what is the best way to do it and without losing config ?

Are you looking to reset whole Switch, or only VDC

show switch. you can take the backup config and write erase should do the job.

If you looking to reset the VDC, take the backup config, no VDC and create a VDC with resources and add the config.

Thanks Balaji , I need to reload the whole switch but write erase one vdc and not the default vdc
