Cisco Prime 3.x customized alarm email

Hi,

We have a Cisco Prime 3.x

We would like to insert dynamic custom text into a subject or body of alarm email.

For example

Host: $hostname , interface : $interface_name , Line ID : $interface_description

I did find any description about the custom text so it means for me that only static text can be used.

But what is the meaning of static text.

  • Notification Policy—The Notification policy allows you to customize notifications on alarms,
device groups or network areas and recipients. You can create policies that can send notifications on
specific alarms of interest that are generated on particular device groups to specific recipient groups.
You can add the Email and Northbound Trap Receiver with the alarm notification destination to
which alarm should be notified.
