Cisco prime can not recognize my switch

hello everybody,

i have problem with connecting switch model catalyst 2960-C 8PC-L with cisco prime version 3.3.I want to update image of switch with cisco prime .  I add sw to cisco prime and assign ip , but cisco prime can not recognize my switch and can not link with it.also i recieve error : ''Collection Status: CLI Failure: Connection to the device failed.''.

Can any one help to resolve my problem?

does the device have a path to prime , can it ping prime ?
does the snmp verify when you try add the device in inventory ?

your device is definitely supported in 3.3

snmp can verify but telnet/SSH can not verify.

check the credentials you entered in PI are same credentials you access the switch with

check that an ACL is not blocking the Cisco prime from accessing the device under the VTY port would be the next 2 steps i would check

sounds like connectivity is there if SNMP is ok so theres something up with your SSH setup

you can ssh into the switch normally yes ?

with ssh is ok but with ssh2 i can not connect.

are your ssh keys on the switch set to 2048 ? if there only 1048 it can only use sshv1 not v2

show ip ssh , will show you , or just reset them ,

crypto key generate rsa (hit return)
type 2048 and then hit return again
