The gpg file you mention is a backup of the Prime Infrastructure server configuration. It is not a backup of individual device configurations.

Individual device configuration backups are in the PI database and can be viewed from the Device Work Center under Configuration Archives (PI 2.x) or the equivalent location in PI 3.x

Dear Marvin,

Many thanks for your swift response !!!

I guess PI database and Prime Infrastructure Server backup are same. Can you please confirm the same. Also i have given the Prime Infrastructure Server Backup (Application NCS) weekly that file is as below SRPPRIME01NOC-160322-1255__VER3.0.0.0.78_BKSZ90G_CPU20_MEM30G_RAM62G_SWAP15G_APP_CK3738684743.tar.gpg. I I couldnt find the Device Work Center under the configuration Archive.

Continuation from the above post- We are able to export the device individual configuration from PI under the configuration tab. But we would like to know how we can export/import the entire running configuration of all devices in the configuration Archive.

Not easily.

There is a cli method to extract the Oracle database objects that comprise the device configurations. It extracts all device configurations into a directory and then you would have to copy that offline.

There's no method I know of to import them into PI short of adding and inventorying the device(s).

OK Thank you !! So there is no other option to export the device configuration from Prime Infrastructure ?
