I have already installed a Cisco RV340 Router and we are already purchasing 2 internet connections 100 Mbps Primary Connection and 50 Mbps Secondary Connection as a Backup & the router is connected with dual wan. The problem is that Lan speed is fine goes up to 135+ Mbps but we connect a Wireless access point with cisco router rv340 the speed of the access point is very slow and goes up to 30+ or 60 Mbps. It is to informed you that with cisco router rv340 a link sys 24 Ports switch are also connected. We have already changed the wireless devices but the issue is also the same. So please kindly guide us according to the matter in which we resolve the issue very easily.

Hello,

just for clarification: what exactly is slow:

--> the speed of wireless clients connection to the Internet

--> the speed of wireless clients connecting to other wireless clients on the same Vlan

--> the speed of wireless clients connecting to other wireless clients on a different Vlan

--> the speed of wireless clients connecting to other wired clients on the same Vlan

--> the speed of wireless clients connecting to other wired clients on a different Vlan

Also, what brand/type/model is the access point ?

The other computer that has already built-in wireless devices when we use through wireless access point the internet speed is very slow on the same network but we use through Lan the internet speed work with load balancing on 2 wan ports with goes up to 140+ Mbps but through wireless, it is very slow and goes up to 30 or 60 Mbps but not cross over 100 Mbps. All the connectivity issues are on the same network.

Router: Cisco RV340 Dual WAN VPN Router.

Switch: Linksys LGS124P (24 Ports) Gigabit Switch

Wireless: Linksys LAPAC1200 (AC Dual Band Access Point)

my problem is not solved still I am waiting for a solution kindly help me regarding the matter.

Hello,

based on what you are saying, it looks like the issue is either with the Linksys and/or the wireless clients. The first thing I would do is change the channel on the Linksys (through the Web GUI Configuration page) and the wireless client network adapters.

The Linksys LGS124P has a Web GUI as well. Check the 'Interface Statistics for the interface the LAPAC1200 is connected to. Are there any drops ?

Hello Sir,

Actually, the Linksys LGS124P unmanaged switch and there is no Web GUI and I have also changed the Wi-Fi access point of Linksys and connected another TP-Link TL-WR840N Router to LinksysLGS124P and internet services are coming from the same Cisco RV340 Router but problem not resolved and the issue is also same bandwidth not increased from 100 Mbps because I have dual wan connectivity of 150 Mbps and from your side please guide us what is the issue and if any device fault please guide me in which I will change it the issue is resolved after that accordingly.

Hello,

these issues are inherently difficult to troubleshoot, as (obviously) wireless is always slower than wired...tough one.

Can you try and connect one of the wireless clients directly with an Ethernet cable to the RV340 ? What is the result ?

Dear Sir,

I also directly connected with Wireless Clients to Ethernet Cable to the
RV340 Router but the issue was the same there is no any changing. Lan
Connectivity of the Clients 150 Mbps and on Wireless not more 30+ or 60
Mbps.

I also directly connected with Wireless Clients to Ethernet Cable to the RV340 Router but the issue was the same there is no any changing. LAN Connectivity of the Clients 150 Mbps and on Wireless not more 30+ or 60 Mbps.

What are the wireless clients (Windows 10/11), what NICs are they using ?

Dear Georg Pauwen

My issue is not resolved I am still waiting for any hint regarding the matter to solve my problem if you have not solved the problem please guide me If I change the cisco router rv340 it is best for me or not & my problem are solved. In this matter please guide me and now i want to share the pics of the configuration please check it and further guide me. If you required any information regarding the matter I will be provided to you but please find any proper solution in which my issue is resolved.

Hello,

as said, that one is going to be difficult to resolve. Have you tried different wireless modes on your clients (see attached image) ?
