What are you trying to do with RMON? Are you trying to poll objects from the RMON-MIB or are you configuring rmon alarms and events?
What does your RMON config look like?

hi david,
i'm tryning to make the cisco switch a RMON device for the Fluke Software. it dosent say in the manual of the Fluke software what to activate to make the switch(cisco) a RMON device. they say that for HP switch, it is capable of being a RMON device for Fluke. Is it possible for cisco switch to be a RMON device in Fluke Optiview Console 7.0? or i need to have some IOS upgrade for it to work??
Switch IOS are:
4503 - (cat4000-I9K91S-M), Version 12.2(25)EWA4, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
3560 - c3560-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEB4
2950 - c2950-i6q4l2-mz.121-22.EA4a
i have NO RMON configuration yet.
rgds,
ben
