CiscoWorks 2.2 Log File Status

On a box with CiscoWorks with Common Services SP3.

CSA MC 5.0

Somebody please help me with the following:

In Log File Status, the File Size of many of the files is greater than their stated Size Limits, but the File System Utilization is less than 10%.

This is a new install. My question is why is the file size already larger than the file size limit? Why would they make the limit so low if it is only going to exceed it in a few days?

What is the recommended Best Practice?

According to the Help File "only log files that reach 90% of their size are backed up and the original log file is emptied."

You can use the Logrot script from: http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=16288&group_id=25401 to set it up with CW2K. This would automatically rotate the log files and keep them in check.
