Hello Team,

Thank you for your ususal support.

Trust my mail meets you well.

I kindly need a technical assistance for generating a CSV file or XML file template  that would be used for  bulk import of network devices on CISCO PRIME LMS 4.2.

I tried using a CSV file template for importing but i got an error stating invalid template.

I also used the XML file template,it was not invalid but the CISCO PRIME LMS 4.2  could not discover any devices.

Please I do need urgent assistance to generate a CSV file template or XML file template that would be compatible with CISCO PRIME LMS 4.2.

Kind Regards,

You can find a sample csv file for import in the online help portion of LMS. You can also add one device manually, then export it to csv to have an actual csv file that you can view and modify. You can then add entries to it and import it again.

Hi,

Thanks for the info. I would like to know how to add management subnet range in group so that device will get discovered automatically based on SNMP traps.

Hi Siva,

go to Campus Manager start page and follow the links in the 3 steps to enable a initial device search.

For more information have a look here:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/camp_mgr/camp_4x/cmgr_403/u_guide/index.htm

Then setup the RME.

Have a look on the documents here:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/cw2000e/e_4_x/4_0_3/u_guide/index.htm

Hope that helps.
