I want to install the server and the client on the same machine. I want to use XP but it wont let me install it on that OS. Anyone know a way of getting around the OS check and will CiscoWorks still work if I did get it to install?

CiscoWorks will not work on an XP server, period. You need either Windows 2000 or 2003 for SNMS 1.5.1.
