I was trying to add a bulk import from an xml file, which was generated by exporting from solarwinds. When i do the import it says format not valid.

I would like to do a bulk import of ip addresses and names of the devices. Please advice.

You need to import it in a format supported by LMS. To see this format you can view the online help or even perform an export of any devices currently in there to see the formatting.

The online help has sample xml files similar to:
