Hi!
I receive "Incorrect Community Name" alerts on a daily basis, and I vas notified that management softwar requests snmp data using snmp comunity "community@ID", where ID is a VLAN number. Switches can recognize that one by default, but routers can't. I suppose, for routers, ID represents subinterface. Am I right?
Is there anything I could do, to prevent routers sending traps when community@ID request is received?
BR,
Ivan

No, this notation is generally not used for routers. I would find out what management application is sending these requests, and stop it from doing so. Alternatively, you could disable authFail traps on the routers.
