config archiving of 1232 AP's failing

Hello,

We recently installed about 100 of the AP1232 series Wireless Access Points, and CiscoWorks is unable to obtain the startup or running configs. Here's the error message:

"Failed to fetch config using SCP.Connection refused: connect Verify SCP is enabled or not. PRIMARY-STARTUP config Fetch Operation failed for TFTP. "

We're running RME 4.0.3 and the WAP is running IOS 12.3(2)JA2. Our config transport settings are (in order): RCP, Telnet, SSH, SCP, HTTPS, TFTP. I've added the commands to the WAPs to allow RCP (ip rcmd rcp-enable,

ip rcmd remote-host <userID> 10.251.0.6 <userID> enable) that has worked well on our switches. So I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why the WAP's aren't being archived and why RME is trying to use SCP when RCP is enabled. Any insights would be appreciated.

TIA,

Brian Read

think SCP is not supported for AP 1210 and 1230's in RME 4.0.3, check the supported device table :

also check the following to configure rcp on Aironet devices :
