Configuration Backup

Hi,

I have installed LMS on my entire LAN.  All the devices has been displayed.  But I am not able to take the configuration backup of all routers and switches.  Anyone can help on this.  How to take the configuration back up of switches and router through LMS.

What version of LMS did you install?  What errors do you get trying to sync the configuration of the devices in question?

I am using LMS 3.2 version.  its showing telnet authentication failed, tried

3 times.

but I am using the same telnet username and password.

can you tell me the way, how do I keep the backup configuration of switches/routers through LMS.

If you're using telnet, start a sniffer trace filtering on tcp/23 traffic between the device and the LMS server.  Start a new sync archive job, then when it fails, check the sniffer trace to see what credentials are being used, and what errors are encountered.
