Configuring LLDP Port ID on IE3000

I was looking to change the lldp port id on a ie 3000 such that it would display the device type.

I don't think LLDP can dynamically detect a specific device type. It can detect the device capability, but not the exact device type (I guess it has to do with the fact that it is vendor independent). So, the most you can get is the output of 'show lldp neighbors detail'...
