Hello, I was put in charge of Cisco Nexus 9300 to configure them for our server. I am trying to add them to Cisco Prime Infrastructure so we can monitor it, but can't seem to synch with the PI. All the basic configs are in and I am able to SSH into it from putty. The problem is that it won't synch with PI due to this error message "Check whether the SNMP V3 credentials are valid."
I've tried to use the command 'snmp-server user <ourusername> auth md5 <pw here> priv <pw here>.' This is closest to the command I can get to what we have on our Cat switches (I work on Cat switches most of the time). In the Cat switches we have the group as well but here it doesn't have me add it in the command mentioned above. I've searching Cisco documents but it's quite hard to pick and choose what commands I need to be using in order for this to work. Please help.
