I am having some strange issues with SWIM under RME. In particular performing SW upgrades. The new version of RME will not upgrade code on a device unless TELNET is enabled as a transport method. So I enabled TELNET and it performed the upgrade and but I found that it used SSH to connect just as I had configured for the upgrade methodology. Anyway once the job said it was complete I checked out the device and SWIM had downloaded the .tar image to the device and the vlan.dat but it did not extract the .tar to flash, or set the boot parameters, or save the config back to flash. Any one had this problem? Looks like a bug.
