Hello,
We are using LMS 4.0 in my office. We want to monitor our ISP router (cisco 888 or 892), the ISP open some MIB (IfMib and Cisco and these OID :
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2 / 1.3.6.1.2.1.31 / 1.3.6.1.2.1.4).
I use Cacti as LMS for the graph, in cacti I have the graph for the devices, but in LMS in the Topology Services, the router stay in red and in state Unreachable.
Do you know what is the mechanism used by LMS to see the state of a device and which MIB or OID do I have to open on the routers?
Thanks for your answer.

Campus will try to get host info, IFtable IP table CDP table and possibly more.
Why not add it to the DCR and later run a data collection just for this device while runing wireshark.
Cheers,
Michel

Hello,
Thanks for you repply, I've already done this on the server, and the MIB I saw is
ciscoProcessMIB" "1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109
I asked my ISP to open this new MIB on a router to try if it's better, I let you know if it solve my problem or not.

Hello,
I finally do my own tests without the ISP, the mib needed by LMS for the topology map is :
System : 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.* This MIB let you see the status, the name, and the IP address.
Thanks for the repply
