DFM license upgrade from 1.1 to 2.0.3

HI,

We have bought LMS 2.5.1 as upgrade copy to LMS 2.0

Now while doing license validation for DFM 2.0.3 it is failing with the DFM 1.1 CD. Whether we need DFM 1.2 CD for this and where to get.

You can also try to download from the Cisco Site.

Hopefully you have an account, Otherwise try your vendor.

i tried serching with cco login but unable to get the DFM 1.2 software ( Single component )

Also are you sure that the issue is due to this only, so that i can ask my supplier to provide one.

Also it gives PTMserver is down. Is this also due to this.

DFM 1.2 is not downloadable from CCO. There are two options to get the cd for license validtion:

1) Go to www.cisco.com/upgrade and see if you can order LMS 2.2 from here which will include DFM 1.2

2) Contact your account rep to see if they can provide you with this cd.

You need to login a pica account, may-be your are not a partner of Cisco than so the login can only be provided through your vendor. Good Luck

Don't try this at home. I have not tried this but I don't think DFMvalidateupgrade does a lot besides this.

Goto \CSCOpx\objects\licences

Create or edit dfmUpgrade.properties

After the date put in: "IsNag=false" so it looks like

#Mon May 15 14:33:14 CEST 2006

IsNag=false

I have tried this but doesnt work..any other suggestion. is DFM 1.2 cd is required

DFM 1.2 is required if you have an upgrade license for LMS 2.5. You will have to get this cd in order to validate the upgrade, there are no other workarounds or hacks
