Hello,

we configured dhcp pools on 3850 switch and the local dns servers on system side.

when user switching from lan to wifi dns records are nor updated.

how can we push updates from dhcp pool on switch to dns ?

as i understood we can do it with "update dns" command under the pool configuration.

Hello @asmlicense,

Enable automatic DNS updates using the "update dns" command.

Use use the ip dhcp update dns command in global configuration mode.

I did it before posting here and active core reloaded itself with "Critical software exception" reason.

for 5 minutes all 140 sites and 2000 users were unable to connect to any local and internal sources.

because of it i want force synch with dns under the pool configuration
