Dial into Infrastructure from Internet

I'm often on the road and only have Internet access via my mobile phone.  There are times when I need to dial into my network during an outage but I don't have access to my dial-up server (either because the network is down or because I don't have VPN access via my laptop).  Does anyone know of a solution to be able to dial into your network equipment using the Internet? Skype will not work to dial into a router, but was wondering if there was a solution out there.  The objective would be to dial into my network equipment using a browser or an Internet accessible dial-up server via my computer or mobile phone.

dialicious.com is probably what you are looking for.  You can access their modem via any computer or mobile device in order to dial into your systems from wherever you are.  I've used them in the past in an emergency (I was at the airport and needed to fix a system that was down) and it worked fine.

If you have the cash, I would suggest getting your own dial-up server and making it accessible via the Internet.  You can get a low end Cisco router and place a modem in it and go from there.  Estimated cost $2K.
