Things in play:
Cisco Prime Infrastructure Build 3.1.0.0.132
WLC 5505 8.3.141.0
Error Message:
a critical alert advising that interface 'Port 2' is down.
Problem:
This interface is always down and in fact was never used.
What steps do I need to take to tell Prime that 'Port 2' is supposed to be down?
I have tried re-running the sync operation, then also tried deleting the WLC and re-adding it.

- You can disable the port on the WLC with : config port adminmode 2 disable (you will then no longer receive those messages on Prime).
