Express setup problems

So I'm very new to managed switches. I have just bought a used 2960-24tt-l but i can't seem to get express setup to work. It starts to blink like it's in express setup mode and i can access it on 10.0.0.1 through both CNA and http, but I'm sent to what I figure is the normal frontpage. It's also not possible to upgrade the software.

I have searched through everything i could find but it hasn't helped. Well i found that I'm missing the html directory in the IOS directory, but i don't know how to get it back sence I can't upgrade or anything.

I have found out this:

Http is enabled

Express setup is enabled

The IOS version is "c2960-lanbase-mz.122-53.SE1 LAN BASE W/O CRYPTO"

Well i found that I'm missing the html directory in the IOS directory, but i don't know how to get it back sence I can't upgrade or anything.

Can you post the complete output to the CLI command "dir".

If the HTML subdirectories can't be found then CLI is the only way ... Besides, why bother buying Cisco and then use the very-limited CNA to configure the appliance.  Doesn't make sense.

I've attached i screenshot, but aren't shure it's what you ment.

Just after i wrote this question i remembered that there was CLI express setup and tried that. The reason why i hadn't tried before was that I'm, as i wrote, new to managed switches and therefor would have liked to start with something simple. I didn't think CLI express setup would be that easy.

I noticed that CNA seemed kind of limited, but i like to get a smooth learning curve with things like this.

The first reason i bought a cisco switch is that i have to cisco accesspoints and is VERY satisfied with them so i looked for them by principle. The other reason is as i said that i bought them used and used switches in denmark isn't really a buyer's market so i bought what i could find.

But anyway, i've now setup the switch and and it's working perfectly as a replacement for a plug and play switch. The first thing i think I'm going to do is set up VLANs so I'm going to need to read some guides and get some background knowledge. The only thing that still a problem and doesn't seem to be because of my lack of experience is that it won't upgrade. I've tried different versions from the newest to the one just after, it fails every time. The only thing i can find is that it seems that all upgrades need 32 MB and the switch only has 31 MB but that doesn't seeme right. Even the version it has installed needs 32MB so did the previus owner upgrade to that version?

HTML files are still there.  They're inside the 12.2(53)SE sub-directory.

I ran a dir in the sub-directory but didn't find the html folder. Screenshot is attached.

Ok, that makes sense.

You may need to "re-install" the IOS (with the TAR file) if you need to use the complete HTML files.
