Favorite network monitoring tool?

What do you guys like to monitor your routers with? (free or commercial)

I don't have alot of experience in actively monitoring networks so i'm curious as to what people use.

My favorite tool for monitoring routers and switches in the network is NetMRI. It is a commercial product produced by Netcordia (www.netcordia.com).

disclaimer: I used to work for Terry Slattery (developer of NetMRI) before he developed this product. And I am not a disintrested oberver of its capabilities.

For simple device up / down monitoring, I use Nagios, free and very easy to get running.
