I dont think it is possible to make the changes via the CLI on a PIX and have it sync up with the firewall. Even if this possible, this would be a bad idea because the configs would start to get out of sync. Hope this clarifies.
AUS is supposed to keep track of the files that SHOULD be running on the PIX. Changing the config via PIX CLI will just be overwritten by AUS at the next polling interval.
