generate email notification after ciscoworks receive syslog message

Hi Netpro,

Im running with CW RME 4.0.3 in our environment. I want CiscoWorks to generate email notifications and send it to my email account right away once it receive any severity 4 (any warning syslog msg)coming from switches/routers. I notice that under rme>reports>report generator>syslog(my customize report) i only see minimum of 6hours only for the recurring time.

I wanted CW to send email notification right away once syslog trap receive to CW. Will it be possible? Pls advise.

Go to RME > Tools > Syslog > Automated Actions. From here you can pick the messages or patterns you want, and configure an email action. See the context sensitive online help for more details.
