Hardware identification

I have numerous CISCO hardware equipment in my infrastructure, I have all the serial numbers for the Chassis, however I cannot find a way to check if they can still be supported through our Partner supplier.

Is there as reverse Serial Tracker tool where I can:

  1. Identify the CISCO Hardware (model Type etc.)
  2. Still has support (IoS etc.)
  3. EoL or EoS.
  4. Time to replace with the latest equivalent hardware.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi

I guess what you are looking is something like the CAA:

You can find the info based on serial number in the Cisco Service Centre: (if your Cisco CCO-id have access to this tool)
1.  Go to the Service Contract Centre:  http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/437/scc/index.html
2.  Click "Launch Tool"
3.  A window should hopefully pop up. (if you have acces to this tool). In the search bar, choose "Serial Number".fill in the serial number en click "go".
