Hidden Alarms in Fault View

At the bottom of my ciscoworks lms 4.0 screen there is a red icon that shows 25 Alarms (critical alarms). When I click this icon I am redirected to Monitor -> Monitoring tools -> Fault Monitor but I see no alarms there. I have already changed the filter to view all alarms but no success. Why is it showing me alarms that cannot be viewed ? Is this a know BUG?

You can disable Fault Management portion from :

Admin > System > Device Management Functions

But i can say the above problem is not associated to the incorrect FM alerts. I would recommend to reinitialize the FM DB (aka, DFM). For commands check :

Seems it is :

CSCtq07224 Alarm count shown in the Alarm bar mismatches with events in FM page

Thanks for your answer.

Would you mind, please, point me out where can I disable Fault Manager?

There is also another problem that may be related to this one. When I try to open

"Monitor > Threshold Settings > Fault" it gives me this message:

"Could not retrieve current data since the PTMServer process is down.

Please restart the process and perform this operation again."

But this process is up and running and I have already restarted it many times!! Is this related to the false alarm count described before? If not, I will open another thread.

Thanks again.
