Hi,
i am currently doing an analysis on logs generated by various Cisco Routers based on IOS 12.X.But i have the following question.I would be happy if anybody could help me out in getting the answers to these questions.
1)Does Cisco Routers based on IOS 12.X support remote logging to a syslog server?
2)if yes what are steps for configuring syslog logging in cisco routers?Any document could be preferable.
3)Any sample test logs generated by various Cisco Routers based on IOS 12.X
4)Where can i get list of various system messages generated by Cisco Routers based on IOS 12.X
Thanks and Regards
Rathna

1. Yes it does
2.
enable
Config term
log on
logging x.x.x.x
logging y.y.y.y
logging z.z.z.z
logging source interface

Plus you need to decide what you want to log
